Johnstown cruiserweight Andres Taylor returns to the ring on January 19 on the Broad Avenue Brawlers Five card in Altoona. He will fight Harvey Jolly.

Jolly has a record of 13-19-1 (7 KO) but has some nice wins on his record. He has beaten an undefeated fighter six times in his career and is coming off of a win over an undefeated fighter.

His best win is a TKO-1 over Nicholas Iannuzzi who was undefeated at the time. He has also beaten heavyweight Evans Quinn. The record is deceiving as he has lost to some heavyweights who outweighed him by 30 to 60 pounds.

Taylor is coming off of a loss to top ranked cruiserweight Rakhim Chakhkiev. Jolly also fought Chakhkiev but was blasted out in three rounds.

Taylor had a rough 2012 going just 1-2 and seeing a title opportunity disappear when Guillermo Jones pulled out of their fight.

Taylor did go the distance with Chakhkiev, just the fourth fighter to do so. Taylor looks to rebound in 2013 and get back in the title picture.
