I finally got off work and home in time to enjoy some good British boxing. 6'9" amateur star David Price took on 6'6" Tom Dallas for the BBBofC British heavyweight title.
The first round went to Price as he landed some hard shots but nothing really happened. The second opened with Price controlling the action and he was asserting himself more.
He opened up some and was landing the harder shots and then set up a big right hand that put Dallas (15-1 11 KO) down and out. Price (11-0 9 KO) looked very good in scoring his second straight knockout.
Dallas isn't a great fighter but he is one who was undefeated. Price has the size and power it appears to make a spalsh.
He is a fighter that I like, but others don't, and this fight isn't setting him up for the world stage, but it was impressive nonetheless.
